Messagemark phillips Conrad, I hope that you receive this before you and Hilary go to Lake Baikal, the blue eye of Siberia. I have been reading about it you see, it is just incredible, I didn’t however realise that the entire surface of the lake freezes over in winter, I hope it stays thick enough before their spring. The children at Percy Hedley School still remember your talk extremely well as do those who attended your event at the Centre for Life. All the gory details of your achievements are part of our folklore now. All the children and staff at Percy Hedley Foundation wish Hilary and you and all your team the best of luck, although I know you will be well prepared, and our hopes for a safe return.
